AVELAR continues to share our library of circa 1970-to-1990 California building and accessibility standards to share with all interested building and accessibility professionals. Many historical records being released are cited in senior partner Lonnie Haughton’s paper chronicling the “History and Backstories of California’s ‘1985 State Building Code’”.
AVELAR now releases from its library a 20-page compendium of “California Access Laws” published in 1980 by the Mobility and Communications Barriers Section of the Department of Rehabilitation.
