We are excited to welcome Donald Teixeira to AVELAR as our newest Construction Consultant and Fenestration Expert.
Tex brings over four decades of experience specializing in exterior building envelope systems, with a particular focus on fenestration design, evaluation, and performance. Before joining AVELAR, Tex served as President of Curtainwall Analysis, Inc., where he led corporate operations and provided expert consulting, litigation support, and engineering for high-performance facade systems across the U.S. and internationally.
He has provided expert witness testimony in numerous construction defect, construction delay, and disputed cost-related cases, as well as personal injury cases, with deep expertise in project management, CPM scheduling, cost estimating, repair scope development, and contract claims. Tex’s technical experience spans design, engineering, testing, and evaluation of curtain wall, window wall, and glazing systems, with past leadership roles managing major projects in Hong Kong, Singapore, and China.
