AVELAR is pleased to announce partner promotions, Mr. Antony Mills to Managing Partner and Mr. Tim Stauffer to Partner. We wish our new partners continued success in their careers at AVELAR. AVELAR is pleased to announce the elevation of Antony S. Mills to the Managing Partnership of the firm.
Ms. Mill’s works with our litigation team providing forensic investigations and analysis, development of scopes of repair and cost estimating services. Additionally, he supports our design team managing projects and providing construction expertise. Antony is a leader in the industry, and within the AVELAR organization, consistently going above and beyond to become a trusted and reliable partner to his team and clients.
Mr. Mill’s was born in England and raised in the Half Moon Bay Coastside area, attending the College of San Mateo where he studied Architecture and is a licensed General Contractor in California. He is actively involved in several community organizations including Westcon Consultants Association, California Association of Community Managers and Community Association Institute. With over 30 years of experience, he speaks frequently to his peers sharing his expertise about the industry.
We are thrilled to also welcome our senior structural engineer Tim Stauffer to the AVELAR partnership. Mr. Stauffer, a licensed Structural Engineer and problem solver with over 30 years of experience in building design and analysis, investigation, and construction product development, advises the AVELAR litigation team with forensic investigations and analysis. He also helps lead the design and reconstruction team with the preparation of structural design and engineering solutions for a variety of complex construction projects. Tim consults with a diverse array of clients on challenging projects, ensuring that clients navigate those challenges with confidence.
An innovative leader committed to staff development and mentoring, Tim joined AVELAR in 2018 to open the new structural engineering division of the firm. He has continued to grow the department over the last five years, further diversifying the myriad of services provided by AVELAR.
Born and raised outside of Philadelphia, Tim attended college at The Pennsylvania State University earning his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and a minor in Engineering Mechanics. He continued his education at University of California Berkeley, acquiring a Master of Science in Civil Engineering.
Tim continues to be an innovator and leader within the AVELAR organization, and we wish him continued success.
