Design + Reconstruction
Mr. Trias started his tenure with AVELAR in 1990 as a CAD Operator, preparing construction documents for repair projects. However, not long after, he moved on to assisting the Forensic + Litigation department with investigation defective construction, report writing and site inspections. With knowledge in both CAD and construction defect and strong leadership skills, he became a CAD manager where he managed CAD staff on reconstruction projects providing oversight, guidance, and quality control of constructi on drawings. Eventually Mr. Trias was promoted to Project Manage r, where his role evolved to directly coordinate with Principal Project Architect in developing project budgets and project scopes of work. Andrew also collaborated in developing complex and innovative repair details as well. Since then, he has become a Licensed General Contractor (2010) and a named Principal (2018) of Avelar with a vast experience in architecture, planning and construction with various projects ranging from single-family and multifamily residences to institutional facilities and high-rise commercial buildings.
Mr. Trias received his Associates Degree in Architecture from Arizona Institute of Architecture
