Design + Reconstruction

Mr. Rualo started AVELAR in 2008 and has a vast level of experience in building envelope. He is responsible for managing reconstruction and waterproofing projects and is a trainer and mentor of the junior support staff with his valuable knowledge of the management and customization of CAD systems. Ben is responsible for detailing, consultant, client, and public agency coordination, along with management of staff and allocating resources for the reconstruction and waterproofing projects for which he is responsible. In addition, he manages and provides graphics support to the litigation department as printed exhibits, 3D graphics, and animation.

Professional History

Ben has 35 years of CAD related experience which include Civil & Traffic, interior design, and Geotech. He also has Architectural experience in Custom/Estate Homes (Napa, Hawaii, and Calistoga Ranch), Religious facilities, multi-Family, hospitality/hotels, and Senior Living facilities. Mr. Rualo’s most notable projects involve CAL Train station renovations, Dublin BART Extension, and Santa Clara Valley Transportation Light Rail.

Additionally, Mr. Rualo is a CAD Instructor for publicly funded training programs that provides a learning opportunity to Architects and Engineers all over Bay Area. He consistently uses his leadership, marksmanship, and navigation knowledge, that he gained from serving in the U.S Army (7th Infantry Division), to help better himself, his work, and his apprentices.
