Evan Urton is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California and a key member of AVELAR’s integrated team, where he focuses on reconstruction and repair projects. His responsibilities include investigating existing conditions, conducting inspections of facades and elevated exterior elements, and developing construction details. Mr. Urton also assists with forensic investigations related to building defect litigation.

Evan’s career spans multiple areas of the construction industry, including architectural design, structural engineering, waterproofing consulting, and construction labor. This breadth of experience has given him a holistic understanding of building systems and deep familiarity with a wide range of materials and methods — an asset to both project and litigation work.

Prior to joining AVELAR, Evan served as a forensic consultant at Allana Buick & Bers, investigating premature waterproofing failures in connection with building defect litigation. His earlier experience includes structural and architectural design roles at EnDreStudio, Terracon, and Crafted Earth, where he developed expertise across facade inspections, waterproofing systems, and structural design for residential and commercial projects.
