Design and Reconstruction
Matteo Sohi is responsible for producing conceptual designs utilizing advanced 3D modeling tools for design presentations. He prepares architectural and structural construction documents, including detailed plans and specifications, performs quantity take-offs, and assists project managers by serving as a project lead on assigned projects. Matteo works closely with planning and building departments throughout the permitting process and conducts ongoing research in design and building codes to support both his professional growth and the AVELAR team.
Matteo Sohi is currently pursuing architectural licensure in California. He has completed his AXP (Architectural Experience Program) requirements through NCARB and is eligible to sit for the ARE 5.0 exams, which he is actively preparing for.
Professional History:
Mr. Sohi has an extensive background and experience that includes Construction supervision/Construction Administration in Tehran, Iran where he supervised and managed several sub-contractors during a condominium construction project (270 units – 3 buildings – 11 floors). Also, Matteo worked as a Senior Designer and then a Senior Architectural Interior Designer in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) during this time he gained experience developing interior and lighting design concepts and 3D models and developed and produced conceptual design (3D modeling and construction documents) for developers, coordinate different kind of contractors, and collaborating with building/planning departments for various European clients.
