Robert Evans serves as a Project Manager and Estimator at AVELAR, bringing more than 26 years of construction industry experience to the firm. A lifelong Bay Area resident, he supports clients across AVELAR’s three service lines, combining hands-on field knowledge with the detail-driven discipline of estimating and project management.
Within the firm’s Forensic + Litigation Support practice, Ro conducts code compliance review, construction documentation, and evaluation of construction standards covering both materials and workmanship. He performs leak inspections, develops repair scopes, prepares quantity take-offs, and produces cost estimates that help quantify building deficiencies and the work needed to address them.
Ro also supports AVELAR’s Design & Reconstruction and Consulting teams, performing building condition assessments, leak inspections, and waterproofing and building-envelope consulting, as well as bid solicitation and evaluation. His consulting work spans code compliance, peer review, SB 326 balcony and exterior-elevated-element inspections, and waterproofing. This breadth allows him to move fluidly between forensic analysis, reconstruction planning, and cost control on projects of all sizes.
