Steve Comfort is a Construction Technician with a diverse background in real estate and construction management. A Bay Area native, Steve graduated from Saint Mary’s College with a degree in Liberal & Civic Studies and a minor in Urban Studies. He is a licensed real estate broker with over 17 years of experience, bringing a unique perspective to construction through his deep understanding of property value and market trends.
Professional History
Before joining AVELAR, Steve provided construction coordination and management services for residential projects ranging from interior updates like flooring and paint to full-scale home remodels. His work included overseeing scope, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and evaluating property value before and after improvements. In addition, Steve has experience with real estate arbitration and mediation through his service on the Contra Costa Association of Realtors Professional Standards Committee.
